Airport Infrastructure Improvements Continue in Sunriver

The Sunriver Airport is starting the next phase of construction in the coming weeks. This year, we're moving and improving the ramp. If you're interested, you can check out the article we wrote for the May 2020 issue of the Sunriver Scene. That article goes into pretty good detail of what we plan on doing this summer and why. You can find the article here on their website (https://issuu.com/sunriverscene/docs/may_2020_sunriver_scene) or in the attached pdf below.

Bear in mind, if you decide to fly into the airport, the ramp may be limited due to construction. It will be a good idea to call ahead to check to see if there is room. We are starting with the northern portion of the ramp. Once the north ramp is complete, we will open that portion and close the south portion for construction. The situation will be very fluid, so stay connected concerning your travel plans. We will do the best we can to accommodate everyone.

We will anticipate a closure to tie in the new taxiway (in red below) as it's being connected to the runway. We have no dates for the closure, yet. As soon as we know, we will make a new post and push it out to everyone (including NOTAMs).
